This two-year, full-time course is designed for young performers who are ready to train at the highest possible level in Years 12 & 13, preparing them for drama school and conservatoire training.

Students on this course will choose to focus their training in either Acting for Stage & Screen or Musical Theatre Performance. We have put acting and storytelling at the heart of our curriculum, with a focus on collaboration and expression, we’re paving the way for aspiring young performers to thrive in the ever-changing landscape of the performing arts industry.

    Acting & Performance Showcase

  • Students will perform a musical theatre production and a play every year, as well as studio showcase performances.

    Student Experience

    Student will have the opportunity to participate in an annual London trip, and access training at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in New York.

    Additionally, Acting & Performance students will receive Drama School Audition Coaching and will have access to The Hammond’s Industry Team for advice and guidance.

  • Graduates of our Acting & Performance course will earn an RSL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative and Performing Arts, equivalent to 3 A-Levels and valued at up to 168 UCAS points. Students also have the option to study up to 2 additional A-Levels alongside their training.

    Students also gain their Grade 8 LAMDA qualification (Gold Award) as part of this course.

  • In recent years, our students have gained places at some of the world’s most prestigious and competitive drama schools and universities, including RADA, GSA, Rose Bruford, East-15, Arts Ed, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and many more.
