The Hammondβs Level 6 Trinity Diploma courses are crafted to train students to the highest possible standard by promoting technical, artistic, and creative excellence. We also offer a range of optional additional qualifications, including A Levels, Level 3 BTECs, the ISTD Diploma in Dance Education qualification, LAMDA Gold, and the London College of Music awards where students thrive in small, dedicated classes, creating an environment for both artistic and academic success.

Once a year, students will undertake approximately 7 weeks of full-scale rehearsals alongside their classes and will be cast into a professionally directed dance production.
Throughout their training students will also benefit from an eclectic programme of workshops and masterclasses led by external artists in the profession, providing a vast wealth knowledge and experience from the outside world.

The Hammond's Industry and Outreach Team delivers several tangible resources to help students succeed in the creative and performing arts. Key offerings include industry mentorship programs for third-year Diploma students, where mentors assist in creating personal development plans. Additionally, the team organises essential industry tools such as headshots, CVs, and vocal reels, along with audition workshops. A major highlight is the Agent Showcase held in a London theatre, providing direct exposure to industry professionals. Weekly industry sessions, personal branding, and social media training are also provided to help students navigate and succeed in the industry.
Beyond technical training, the team offers performance opportunities and masterclasses to help students refine their artistic identity and unique styles. These programs are designed to connect students with experienced agents, casting directors, and industry professionals who can assist in showcasing their talent and securing auditions. Through this combination of professional skill-building and artistic development, The Hammond prepares students for the competitive world of creative and performing arts.

In addition to formative and summative assessments in all core disciplines and in live performance, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning through regular discussion, tutorials, reflective practice, self-assessment and target setting.

Level 6 Professional Diploma in Dance (accredited by CDMT and Trinity College London)
This course comprises of three years of training.
The Hammond also offers optional Further Education courses such as A Levels & BTECs all college students.
Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) is also on offer.
Students may participate in classes leading to examination in LAMDA (gold level) and London College of Music/Musical Theatre.

Middlesex University offers a work-based, part-time distance learning course, developed in association with Trinity College London, for graduates of this qualification leading to a BA (Hons) Professional Practice. Graduates may also apply directly for some MA courses
