Boarding Division Vacancies

Job Role: Senior House Parent for The Hammond, Chester (term time role)
Closing Date: 9th March
Accountable to: Head of Boarding
Responsible for: The line management of boarding staff within a particular House, or across Houses as the rota dictates.
Job purpose: As a resident Senior Houseparent, you will be a strong presence in boarding, helping to lead the supervision and guidance of staff for the safety and welfare of all boarding students. You will work with the Head of Boarding to efficiently manage your house, providing for the safety, good discipline and pastoral well-being of all boarding pupils, successfully enabling an atmosphere which is conducive to learning and growth.
The Hammond is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. As such, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The Hammond is an equal opportunities employer.
Pay: £31,000 per annum
