An original play performed by The Hammond’s Theatre Arts students.
It is Christmas Eve and the Fisher family are driving from London to Scotland for a family celebration. En route, the car breaks down right in the middle of the Scottish Mountains and as the weather closes in, the family are forced to spend the night in a Bothy (a small stone hut used by hikers in bad weather). As they all try to get settled an accident occurs with Ben the middle child, and after managing to get through to the emergency services, the family are told that they must keep Ben awake until help arrives. After uncovering a collection of battered old books, the family find themselves retelling a series of classic adventure stories and inadvertently discovering connections with each other that had previously been lost…
